DESIGNING A WHITE-ON-WHITE BATHROOM

48” Dancing Room Collection, Ash Wood Base finished in white and Rainbow White natural marble countertop

Not All Whites Are The Same

There are many tones of white to choose from! Cool or pure whites go well in contemporary spaces creating a bright and crisp look. This has the potential to look sterile so consider adding warm elements or texture into the space. Ivory or warm whites provide a softer more inviting feel and pair nicely with many styles of homes from traditional to historic to eclectic.

Layering Whites

Use different tones of white in your bathroom for best results. Your paint colour does not have to match the exact tone of your bathroom vanity, tiles or shower curtain. In this bathroom you can see a variance from cool to warm whites which adds visual texture and depth.

Adding Stone with a Hint of Colour

These hexagonal Carrara Marble tiles add a touch of grey to the room, but when looked at holistically, the space still reads as white. Don’t be afraid to experiment with natural stone colours. Italian marbles offer many different vein colours so you can choose from grey, brown and pinks. Just make sure they match your tone of white which will bring the room together.

Picking your Accents

Your lighting, bathroom faucets and furniture can add that touch of luxury. There are so many different finishes available, from stainless steel to copper. Brass is popular at the moment. Add your personal style to create an elegant and peaceful oasis. Accents are easy and less expensive items to change.
